Curology sells an Acne Body Wash. A DailyMed Drug Facts label for the product lists salicylic acid 2% as its active ingredient and acne treatment as its labeled use. That does not establish how any one person's skin will respond or promise that acne will stay away.
What the Drug Facts label says
The reviewed label directs users to dampen skin, massage a thin layer over the affected area, and rinse thoroughly. Because dryness may occur, it says to start with one daily application and increase gradually to two or three times daily only if needed or directed by a doctor. If excessive dryness or peeling occurs, reduce use to once a day or every other day. Follow the Drug Facts on the exact package you have.
Precautions and claim limits
The label warns that using another topical acne drug at the same time or immediately afterward may increase dryness or irritation. It is for external use only, should be kept out of reach of children, and calls for medical help or Poison Control if swallowed. These label directions do not establish that the wash suits every skin type without irritation.
The earlier article called the wash an ultimate solution and promised to prevent body acne from returning. The labeled acne-treatment use does not substantiate those outcomes for every reader, and no firsthand product testing is documented for this page.
Bottom line
This is a 2% salicylic-acid wash labeled for acne treatment, not a guaranteed way to clear chronic acne or prevent every future breakout. Check the exact package's Drug Facts and use it as directed.
